The thriller "11th Hour" was written by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro and released in 2012. It is the twelfth book in the Women's Murder Club series, which also includes four other female crime fighters: medical examiner Claire Washburn, reporter Cindy Thomas, assistant district attorney Yuki Castellano, and detective Lindsay Boxer.

The story centres on a string of homicides that appear to be related to an elite private school in San Francisco. The murderer appears to be specifically targeting the victims, who are all former pupils of the school. Despite being on the case, Lindsay and her squad quickly come to the conclusion that the murderer is always one step ahead of them.

The book moves quickly and keeps the reader interested all the way through. Each character is fully realised and has a distinct personality and history. As they cooperate to solve the case, the Women's Murder Club members' relationships are another highlight of the book.

The way the killer is portrayed in the novel is one of its strong points. As the killer's identity is gradually exposed, the authors do a fantastic job of building tension and evoking a sense of dread. The plot twists and turns keep the reader guessing until the very end.

"11th Hour" is a suspenseful thriller that will please both readers who like crime fiction in general and lovers of the Women's Murder Club series. The characters are interesting and likeable, and the plot is masterfully constructed. Anyone searching for a fast-paced, exciting read should definitely pick up this book, in my opinion.
