Worship method and importance :
In Hinduism, the Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month has a lot of religious significance because on this day, women keep the fast of Karva Chauth, wishing for the long life and happiness and prosperity of their honeymoon.
In the Sanatan tradition, Karva Chauth is also known as Karak Chaturthi, on this day women worship the moon, especially in the evening, keeping a Nirjala fast.

Religious importance of worship of Karva Chauth :
On the day of Karva Chauth fasting, women worship the moon especially during the night, keeping a Nirjala fast for the whole day, it is also called Karak Chaturthi. Talking about Karva or Karak, its Hindi meaning is an earthen pot. Through this karva, women offer Arghya to the moon god on the night of Karva Chauth.
In Hinduism, pottery is considered very sacred. This is the reason why women not only offer Arghya to the moon god by doing Karva on this day, but also donating it specially to a Brahmin woman and seek her blessings.
When to worship Karva Chauth :
Every year on the Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month, a fast is kept for the long life of the honey. This year, this holy Chaturthi date will start on 13 October 2022, Thursday and will continue till 14 October 2022. This year this fast will be kept on 13 October 2022. The best time for worshiping Karva Chauth fast on this day will be from 05:54 to 07:09 in the evening.
Worship method of Karva Chauth fast :
On the day of Karva Chauth, women should take a vow to observe this fast after taking bath and meditation in the morning before sunrise and after worshiping the Shiva family during the day, they should observe a Nirjala fast for the whole day. After this, after doing 16 makeup in the night, draw a picture of Karva Chauth worship in the north-east direction of the house i.e. place of worship or use the calendar brought from the market for worship.
To worship Karva Chauth, first of all, mix turmeric in rice flour and make an ayapan. After this, make seven circles on the clean land or post and place that picture on it. After this, make a swastika from roli on the earthen curry and mix milk, water and rose water in it. In Karva, you put 21 seams and light the lamp placed on it.

जिस करवा चौथ व्रत वाले दिन महिलांए पूरे दिन निर्जला व्रत रखते हुए रात्रि के समय चंद्रमा की विशेष रूप से पूजा करती हैं, उसे करक चतुर्थी भी कहते हैं. करवा या फिर करक की बात करें तो इसका हिंदी अर्थ मिट्टी का बर्तन होता है. इसी करवा के जरिए महिलाएं करवा चौथ की रात को चंद्र देवता को अर्घ्य देती हैं...
हिंदू धर्म में मिट्टी के बर्तन को बहुत ज्यादा पवित्र माना गया है. यही कारण है कि महिलाएं न सिर्फ इस दिन करवा से चंद्र देवता को अर्घ्य देती हैं, बल्कि इसका विशेष रूप से ब्राह्म्मण महिला को दान करके उससे आशीर्वाद भी लेती हैं.
कब करें करवा चौथ की पूजा
प्रत्येक वर्ष कार्तिक मास के कृष्णपक्ष की चतुर्थी तिथि को सुहाग की लंबी आयु के लिए व्रत रखा जाता है. इस साल यह पावन चतुर्थी तिथि 13 अक्टूबर 2022, गुरुवार को प्रांरभ होकर 14 अक्टूबर 2022 तक रहेगी. इस साल यह व्रत 13 अक्टूबर 2022 को रखा जाएगा. इस दिन करवा चौथ व्रत की पूजा के लिए सबसे उत्तम मुहूर्त सायंकाल 05:54 से लेकर 07:09 बजे तक रहेगा.
करवा चौथ व्रत की पूजा विधि
करवा चौथ के दिन महिलाओं को प्रात:काल सूर्यादय से पहले उठकर स्नान-ध्यान करने के बाद इस व्रत को विधि-विधान से करने का संकल्प लेना चाहिए और दिन में शिव परिवार की पूजा करने के बाद पूरा दिन निर्जला व्रत रखना चाहिए. इसके बाद रात्रि में 16 श्रृंगार करने के बाद घर के उत्तर पूर्व दिशा यानि पूजा स्थान पर करवा चौथ की पूजा का चित्र बनाएं या बाजार से लाया हुआ कैलेंडर का पूजा के लिए प्रयोग करें....
करवा चौथ की पूजा करने के लिए सबसे पहले चावल के आटे में हल्दी मिलाकर आयपन बनाएं. इसके बाद इससे स्वच्छ भूमि या चौकी पर सात घेरे बनाएं और उसके ऊपर उस चित्र को रखें. इसके बाद मिट्टी के करवे पर रोली से स्वस्तिक बनाएं और उसमें दूध, जल और गुलाबजल मिलाकर रखें. करवा में आप 21 सींकें लगाएं और उसके ऊपर रखे दीपक को जलाएं..
